Though in late-stage dementia, she remained a bright light in her memory care community. She kept repeating, “We work, we work, we work… and where does it get us?”—a phrase that lingered in Josh’s heart.

That week, he performed a show for her and the other residents. Watching her beam through the entire performance, something clicked. She couldn’t have known he was ready to walk away—but her joy reminded him why he started.

Less than a year later, Josh had his breakout moment on Penn & Teller: Fool Us. Since then, he’s performed for hundreds of thousands of people, earned millions of online views, and worked with top brands nationwide.
